Forex.ie is an independent forex broker review and comparison platform. Our mission is straightforward: to provide honest, research-based information that helps traders worldwide find the right broker for their needs — without the bias, spin, or undisclosed commercial relationships that compromise so much of the content in this space.
We research and review forex and CFD brokers using aggregated data from multiple third-party sources including Trustpilot, G2, Forex Peace Army, and independent trader communities on Reddit, WebHostingTalk, and specialist forums. We do not claim to conduct first-hand live trading with every broker. Where we hold live accounts for verification purposes, we note this explicitly.
Our reviews cover regulation and safety, trading costs (spreads, commissions, swap rates), platform quality, educational resources, customer support quality, and the overall value proposition for different types of traders.
While our audience is global, we maintain a particular focus on the Irish regulatory and trading environment. This means giving special prominence to CBI-regulated brokers, covering ESMA leverage limits and MiFID II protections in depth, and including EUR base currency options and SEPA payment availability in our assessments.
Forex.ie earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with some of the brokers we review. When a reader clicks through to a broker and opens an account, we may receive a referral commission. This does not influence our editorial ratings, methodology, or the content of our reviews. Brokers cannot pay for positive ratings or for inclusion at the top of our comparison tables. Our rankings are determined solely by our research methodology.
